No Dialogue With workers ... Shameless, Undemocratic Government

Source: FreeMalaysiaToday
Unrepresented workers are the losers
The workers who clean your office, helps you in your housework, looks after your child, cleans the streets you drive on everyday, sends your letters to your postbox, trims your hedges, who cashes in your goods at the supermarket, ... the fishmonger you buy fish from ... are all unrepresented workers ... they don't have unions ... they don't know what is happening in Parliament if there are bills being passed that would affect them.

These workers are too busy trying to make ends meet ... where got time to hear the news ... minum teh tarik (drink tea) with friends after hard day's work ... then balek ke pangkuan keluarga (return to family).

That's why we need your support to come to Parliament and tell this government - its enough. Stop this NWCC Bill its NOT helping workers. You who have excess to internet and not worry about where the next sen is coming from.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE UNORGANISED WORKERS WHO KEEP RUNNING MALAYSIA BUT ARE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD.

No dialogue with workers
Why they don't know is because this government never have dialogues with the people, with workers, with the unions, with Malaysian Trade Union Congress (MTUC) about the bills they are going to pass. That's why groups like us, Persatuan Sahabat Wanita, Selangor (PSWS), Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM), Tenaganita, Malaysians 4 Decent Living Wage and some unions have to rush here and there to get the civil society to support us. This is difficult. With the Bersih rally grabbing the headlines and nuthead political analysts giving crap stuff on the media ... WORKERS ISSUES ARE HARDLY HEARD.

Noone wants to think about the lady who cooks and cleans your house, the garbage collecters, the postmen, the hospital assistants, the cashier at the supermarket ... NOW IS THE TIME TO ASSIST THEM. Come to Parliament on tues, 28 Jun, 10am.

Bersih rally
That's why Bersih rally is important to people who realise that this government does not dialogue with its people in passing and implementing laws. That's why its important to have clean elections so that the people we choose are there and not hoodwinked otherwise through bad electoral  practices.

The long struggle for decent living wage
World bank reported that Malaysia's wages have only increased by 2.3% in the past 30 years. It is time that workers receive a decent living wage. MASA DAH TIBA !!!!!

COME OUT ON TUESDAY, 28 JUN TO PARLIAMENT TO SHOW THIS GOVERNMENT ITS ENUF ... SUDAH CUKUP LAH ... NAK HOODWINK RAKYAT SAMPAI BILA? .... SAY NO TO THIS NWCC BILL - a hopeless piece of legislation that's not helping workers.

WORKERS DEMAND A DECENT LIVING WAGE.
WORKERS DEMAND A DECENT LIVING WAGE.
WORKERS DEMAND A DECENT LIVING WAGE.
WORKERS DEMAND A DECENT LIVING WAGE.
